Constanza Sagasti and the Penguin Random House Group, through their Caligrama label, are collaborating again on a publishing project, this time in the creation of the book titled Cuentos, microtextos y poemes, a collection of short texts and photographs that its author has defined as "stories that vary in theme and length, tiny literary works full of content, that address current issues and also timeless themes that help us analyze and understand this world in continuous transformation. Great stories contained in small texts, enormous stories in literary miniatures, written from seriousness and also from humor at times".
With a deep analytical capacity and calm gaze, Sagasti reflects on current society and its evolution, on human behavior and moral values, on the world of work and the dignity of each profession, with its references. The author also analyzes the influence that politics, justice, economics and technological development have on our lives. And, with regard to the human, Constanza Sagasti deals with such universal themes as friendship and personal relationships, love and its opposite, peace and violence, spirituality and the individual, in order to better understand their weaknesses. and its strengths. And in order to understand the world a little more, in a permanent purpose of continuous improvement that guarantees mutual respect and coexistence.
